   Software architect (Drupal, Javascript, scalability/performance), semantic technology consultant, and liaison to the European Union for the SARACEN project, funded under the EU’s FP7 framework for technological innovation.

   As co-founder, co-architect and principal front-end engineer of both a unique international social network and a patent-pending semantic content management system, Klokie created the client interface and real-time web services API and continues to build an international community around Stockholm-based startup Yepler.

   Designed and built three major iterations of client-side software and web services (PHP, Javascript/JQuery/JSON, CSS, XHTML). Customized, integrated, optimized and tested scalable back-end architecture based on Tornado (Python). Integrated third party web service APIs (Facebook, Twitter, Freebase, Google, dbPedia, Wikipedia) using Javascript and JQuery.

   Consulted on long-term strategy, branding, coaching, business model development, and financial goals. Helped develop a winning pitch for seed funding round.

   Klokie architected the first large-scale Flash & HTML online jewelry stores for Tiffany & Co. and FirstJewelry.com in 1999, created bespoke publishing tools for the Silicon Alley Reporter (later sold to Dow Jones) and user interfaces for MoMA (winner of many awards including Yahoo! Best Art Museum Site in 2001), and crafted a pioneering rich-media experience for Digital Club Network (winner of OneShow “Gold Pencil” award, and now run by Live.com).

   One of the first employees at the gaming start-up which would later become world famous for creating the classic “Guitar Hero”, Klokie administered an ISDN-based network of Windows NT and Exchange Servers, Microsoft Visual SourceSafe, and high-performance Macs and PCs in addition to creating and managing public and private Web and FTP sites. Utilizing a deep knowledge of music theory, Klokie also performed encoding and harmonic analysis of digital audio files using proprietary Perl routines.

Music Production

Established independent recording companies Front Yard Records in 1996 and Housecall Records in 1999. Produced, designed, promoted, and sold over 2,000 recordings. Recorded, mixed, assisted and/or produced 4-, 8-, 16-, and 24-track recordings for 42 artists in Stockholm, Barcelona, Paris, London, New York, Boston, and North Carolina.
