After over 10 hours of near-exorcism, Sandra (with the help of 2 doctors and 5 midwives) delivered unto the world a beautiful baby boy. The staff at Södersjukhuset that has been looking after us - about 20 “barnmorskar” (midwives) at least - has been more caring, knowledgeable, and professional than I could possibly have hoped. The whole experience, although it was very stressful during the extra 5 days we had to stay in the hospital due to a slight fever and endless crying over the weekend, has been an overwhelmingly positive one.
